Your role

Luotea is now strengthening the accounting team with an experienced and committed Accountant.

In the role of Accountant, you will work together with your colleagues on the ongoing accounting for the company's two Swedish subsidiaries. You will ensure accurate financial reporting in accordance with applicable regulations and internal guidelines, and work independently with year-end closings, accruals, and account reconciliations.

You will have a central role in contact with external parties such as auditors, authorities, and banks, as well as in reporting to the group. The role also involves close collaboration with controlling and other parts of the organization.

You will report to the Accounting Manager and be based at the headquarters in Solna.

Your main responsibilities

• Ongoing accounting according to applicable regulations and internal guidelines.
• Monthly, quarterly, and annual closings as well as accruals.
• Account reconciliations and quality assurance of balance and income statement items.
• VAT and tax declarations.
• Financial reporting to the group and external stakeholders.
• Collaboration with controlling, auditors, and other functions.
• Contribute to the development and streamlining of processes and system support.

Your profile

Qualifications

You have an academic degree in economics or accounting and at least five years of experience in qualified accounting work, preferably from larger companies or group environments. You are used to working independently with year-end closings and annual reports and have very good knowledge of Excel. Experience with accounting according to K3 is a requirement, as well as a very good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.

If you also have experience working in IFS or analysis tools such as PowerBI, IFRS, or group accounting, we consider this a merit.
